Story :

When Raja Azad Singh (Dara Singh), the ruler of a princely state, fights against British rule and is arrested for his rebellion, the responsibility of bringing up Azad’s newborn son falls on Jamuna, who names him Raju and brings him up as her own. Raju (Amitabh Bachchan) grows up to become a thorn in the side of the British much like his father and the British officers are hard pressed to get rid of him. Then Azad comes out of prison and father and son join hands.
